I am really looking forward to the trip. I have been thinking about T-shirts for the team and wondering if everyone could think of design possibilities. I can get great deals on T-shirts. Just figured I could get the ball rolling on it.

Hello Friends,
I hope everyone is having a great week so far! Granted it's not the most beautiful 4th day of March on record, but hopefully it still provides alittle encouragement...spring will come...
Anyway, as I was sitting around at my stressful job...kidding...my mind began to wander to the New Hope theme verse:
5 "A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. 6 God sets the lonely in families, he leads forth the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land." Psalm 68:5-6
...after finding the full verse and letting it sink in I gained even more appreciation for their mission. I can't begin to imagine what my life would be like without my father here on earth and my eternal Father, to think many of these children have no concept of either! God has given us an amazing opportunity to help give the children of Uganda something I personally couldn't live without. My hope is that you would all maybe take alittle time to think about what a Father is and what an impact that has had on who you are and will be. That is what I hope I can give the children we will be interacting with, a Father who will never fail them.
Once again I hope you're all having an amazing day and week! And thank you Hannah for setting up this sweet blog!

The planning for this trip has been going very well, but please continue to pray for the little details that will be need attention soon.
For everyone who hasn't finished the "Skills Assessment" form, please send that to me as soon as you can.
And for all of us who have been discouraged by the busyness of the week(s), "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the PEACE of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." -Phillipians 4:6-7
